"Functional Training to Get You Fit... FAST!

Functional Strength Training is the foundation of our Boot Camp.  Their is a science to it... which we will talk more about in a moment.  Listen to how it makes you feel first...

You see, it is all about EXERTION First.  Exertion is defined as the act or an instance of exerting, especially a strenuous effort. 

That strenuous effort is what changes your blood chemistry and takes an average Boot Camp from good to GREAT!  Even when working with your personal trainer, training at a local gym, or working out at home for that matter.  You MUST exert yourself! 

So, what does exertion have to do with functional strength training and what the heck is FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH? 

Exertion is the value in any type of workout program.  Like I said above... you HAVE to Exert your self when you workout.  That is... if you want Results. 

Functional training is one broad type of training that can encompass many other training protocols.  Basically, functional strength training is a workout protocol that is focused on "Natural" bio-mechanics (body movement.)  So, a leg extension machine is a great movement for isolating the quads, but it does not line up with your natural use of your quadriceps.  A squat is a "Functional" strength training movement because it is inherently a very natural movement that we regularly use.

You get the idea... Functional Training is ALL ABOUT  Natural Movement.  That is what we do at our Philadelphia Boot Camp and our Sicklerville Boot Camp.

Your personal trainer will use functional training and couple it with exertion.  Boot Camp will get you REAL WORLD Results in REAL TIME!
